Before & After Care Program

Information Sheet

Site Location: 

The Charles Chrin Community Center of Palmer Township operates before and after-school childcare at the community center located at 4100 Green Pond Road Easton, PA. 

Hours of Operation:

Childcare hours are Monday through Friday. 

Half-day childcare will be offered on early dismissal days – 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

BEFORE CARE HOURS -- 6:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (or bus pick-up time)

AFTER-SCHOOL HOURS -- 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

*Childcare does not operate on snow days. However, we will operate on early dismissals due to snow.

Program Content:

Our program includes:

Daily homework time

Physical fitness activities

Healthy snacks

Safe, structured, fun activities and games

Sign-In/Out:

Participants will be checked in by CCCC staff upon arrival/dismissal from school.  A clipboard will be located with a staff member.  Parents/Guardians will be required to sign your child’s name to note he/she has been dropped off/picked up. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT RECORD AND SAFETY MEASURE FOR THE CHILDCARE STAFF:  YOUR COOPERATION IS APPRECIATED.

Drop-off/Pick-up:

Before school care begins at 6:45 a.m.

After school care ends at 6:00 p.m. 

**There is an additional charge of $10 per every 15 minutes for late pick-ups, due at the time you pick-up your child.  Repeated late pick-ups may result in loss of childcare services. 

Drop-off and pick-up should be at the doors facing Rt. 22.  You may pull up to the sidewalk instead of parking to drop-off/pick-up for your convenience.  Parents/guardians must escort their child into the building and sign them in for before school.

Transportation:

A school bus will transport children to and from CCCC daily.  All participants must complete an alternative transportation form located in the Palmer Elementary school office.

Deposit Procedures:

A $100.00 deposit is required to hold your child’s spot for the before/after school program.  The program application and deposit must be completed and received by the CCCC before your child is accepted into the program.

Fees and Payments:

The rates and fees for the before/after school program for the 2011-2012 school year are as follows: 

     Deposit:  $100.00 (to be deducted from total amount due)

     Before school:  $1891.00/school year (includes deposit)

     After school:  $2242.00/school year (includes deposit)

     Late pick-up fee:  $10/every 15 minutes late

Payment is due at the beginning of each month at the following rate:

    (Prices reflect $100 deposit)

    Before school:  $199/month

    After school:  $238/month

Payment schedule is from September – May

1st payment must be submitted before the start of school.

Final payment is due May of the current year
